Atlas Grid was founded by practitioners with direct experience in BESS transactions, energy markets, and institutional capital. We built this platform because we saw a gap: too much capital chasing projects that are not genuinely ready, and too few teams who understand both the asset and the investor.

Robin Haack
Co-Founder
Robin Haack brings experience in energy infrastructure origination and transaction management across European markets. Prior to founding Atlas Grid, he worked closely with institutional and strategic investors to structure and scale investment vehicles in the clean energy sector, contributing to the mobilisation of significant capital into distributed renewable assets.
His background spans the full project lifecycle: from origination and structuring through to transaction execution and investor reporting. He has worked with institutional counterparties including infrastructure funds, utilities, and family offices, and has a detailed understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing energy storage across Germany, Italy, and Poland.
At Atlas Grid, Robin oversees the overall strategic direction of the platform, investor relations, and capital structuring. His focus is on acquiring projects that are genuinely ready for institutional capital - RTB and late-stage assets where the permitting and grid risk has already been resolved by the originating developer.

We do not originate greenfield projects. We acquire assets that are already through the hardest phase of permitting and grid connection, and we execute with discipline.

Our capital structure is designed to align developer and investor incentives. We hold meaningful co-investment in every project we bring to market.
